OctoPlus Opens Boston Office

OctoPlus N.V. has opened its business development office in Boston to better serve clients and expand its business in North America. The office will be operated by OctoPlus, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of OctoPlus N.V., and will support drug development activities as well as drug formulation and manufacturing business.

The company has appointed Michiel Lodder, Ph.D., to the role of director business development, North America. Dr. Lodder was previously manager business development and project leader at the company’s headquarters in Leiden, the Netherlands.

“We are very happy that OctoPlus has a presence in North America now,” says Joost Holthuis, chief executive officer of OctoPlus. “We want to continue to expand our business in that region and with a local office, we can better support our clients and maximize the commercial opportunities there.”
